    Day 1 · Fez — Ifrane — Azrou — Midelt — Merzouga

    We cross the Middle Atlas with stops in Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest, lunch in Midelt and then the Ziz gorges. Arrival in Merzouga at sunset and a night in a hotel with a pool at the foot of the dunes.

    Day 2 · Day in the Merzouga desert

    A morning by 4x4: a nomad family who offers us tea, the old mines, the village of Khamlia with its Gnawa music and, if it has rained, the flamingo lake. Lunch with medfouna in Rissani. In the late afternoon you ride a camel to the camp. Dinner under the stars.

    Day 3 · Merzouga — Todra — Dadès

    Sunrise on the dunes, then west: the khettaras of Tinejdad, the Todra Gorge on foot and the drive up into the Dadès valley. Night in a guesthouse.

    Day 4 · Dadès — Skoura — Aït Ben Haddou — Marrakech

    The Valley of Roses, the Skoura kasbah, Ouarzazate and a visit of Aït Ben Haddou. Then the Tizi n'Tichka pass and arrival in Marrakech in the evening.

Can I spend both nights at the camp?

Yes, just let us know. Many people prefer the first night in a hotel to rest after the long drive from Fez.

What do you eat in the desert?

Usually harira or Moroccan salad, chicken or vegetable tajine, fruit and mint tea. If you have dietary requirements, let us know beforehand.
