    Day 1 · Errachidia — Ziz valley — Merzouga

    Pick-up from your accommodation in Errachidia. Panoramic stop over the Ziz valley, visit of Erfoud and the Rissani market. In the afternoon we reach Merzouga for a sunset camel ride to the camp, a Berber dinner and music around the fire.

    Day 2 · Merzouga — Khamlia — Errachidia

    Early start to watch sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp. Back by camel or 4x4, visit of the village of Khamlia with live Gnawa music and return to Errachidia in the early afternoon.

Are 2 days enough to see the desert?

Yes: from Errachidia the desert is close, so in 2 days there is time for the sunset camel ride, the night at camp and sunrise on the dunes without rushing.

How far is Errachidia from Merzouga?

About 130 km, a little over 2 hours' drive through the Ziz valley, with stops in Erfoud and Rissani.

What time do we leave?

We agree the time with you. Usually we leave in the morning so we reach Merzouga in time for sunset.

Is there a bathroom at the camp?

Standard tents share bathrooms; superior or luxury tents have a private bathroom in the tent.

Can I add another night in the desert?

Of course. You can stay a second night at camp and add activities such as quad, buggy or sandboarding.

Can I start the tour from another city?

Yes, we can also pick you up in Erfoud, Rissani, Fez or Marrakech and adjust the length of the trip.
