The rhythm that comes from sub-Saharan Africa
Khamlia is a small village at the foot of Erg Chebbi, home to families of sub-Saharan origin who have passed down Gnawa music for generations: drums, iron castanets called qraqeb and songs that sound like prayers.
The musicians welcome you into their home, offer you tea and play for you. In the end, almost always, everyone ends up dancing together.
