Charming riads and kasbahs and, in the desert, comfortable Berber tents with an authentic atmosphere.
Options and supplement3 days and 2 nights among kasbahs, mountains and dunes
It's our most requested tour, and for good reason: in three days you go from the High Atlas mountains to mud-brick kasbahs, from the Dadès and Todra canyons to the great orange dunes of Erg Chebbi.
On the second evening you ride a camel to the camp as the sun sets behind the dunes. The drive back to Marrakech is long, but the road is like a film that never stops.
Morning departure across the High Atlas and the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit of Aït Ben Haddou, lunch in Ouarzazate and then the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses. Arrival in the Dadès valley in the late afternoon. Dinner and night in a guesthouse (about 6-7 hours with stops).
Morning in the Dadès Gorge and then the Todra Gorge, with a walk along the bottom of the canyon. After lunch we pass Tinejdad and Erfoud and reach the Merzouga dunes. Sunset camel ride to the camp, Berber dinner and a night under the stars.
Sunrise on the dunes and breakfast at camp. A long drive back through the southern valleys and the High Atlas, with stops for lunch and photos. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening (about 9-10 hours).
